CED App - For People with Chronic Inflammatory Bood Disease.

The CED app was developed together with doctors and those affected for people with inflammatory intestinal diseases (CED)-Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis.

The free application combines a variety of functions that each user can put together according to his individual needs. With documentation, organization and information, the CED app supports the disease management. It helps to learn more about its own illness, always keep an eye on the course or to always have important information and documents about the CED when visiting the doctor and to remember questions from the attending doctor. A clear presentation and intuitive menu navigation make the CED app a personal companion for smartphone and tablet.

DOCUMENTATION

With the practical diary function, both the typical symptoms and the effects of the disease can be easily documented. This includes bowel movements, pain, general condition and possible symptoms outside the intestine. In addition, sleep disorders, weight development, drinking quantities and eating habits can be recorded with a few clicks.

EVALUATION

The information from the documentation is evaluated individually for a self -determined period. The data are output clearly and clearly as a table and diagram. On request, you can be sent as a PDF by email.

Patient file

Findings, doctor's letters, etc. always and everywhere. Simply sprinkules locally as a photo or PDF file as a photo or PDF file.

Toilet finder

If the CED is acute, it sometimes has to go very quickly by going to the toilet. The toilet finder makes the search easier, especially in a foreign environment. The overview map shows the nearest toilets near the current location.

Medicines & doctors

A clear list for all medicines to be taken can be created here. A medication alarm also reminds of the intake. The “non -taking” of a medication can also be noted and discussed with the attending doctor. By storing the contact details of all treating doctors, the user have all contacts

at hand.

CALENDAR

Doctor's appointments, absenteeism and disease spurts - in the month overview of the calendar, both appointments can be entered and events can be recorded. The memory function ensures that nothing will be forgotten.

SETTINGS

What should be noted and what is not necessary? The documentation can be individually adapted using the "My documentation" button in the settings and opened with one click on the start screen.

The background image can also be selected according to personal taste.

The entries in an encrypted file are saved as a backup copy via "Create backup". If desired, a four-digit pin code protects against the undesirable access to the CED app.

Quick access

In addition to the "settings", the functions "memories" and "notes" can be called up in a menu bar on the bottom of the picture.

Under “Memories”, all alarm and memory functions can be managed at a glance such as B. doctor's appointments or medication.

With the "notes" function-sorted by the subject-all illness-relevant aspects can be noted.
